The Crew

Nathan Ford | Timothy Hutton

Every team has there leader, and Nathan is the mind behind the endeavors of the crew. Although he fell back into his old drinking habits towards the end of the first season, most inhibited by the effects of alcohol his actions became more risky and in turn played for interesting episodes. Nathan has lost his son, fell out of marriage and was in a weaken state of being when he was approached to lead a team of crimials all of whom he was familar with being an ex-employee for an insurance agency. Nathan accepted the job at hand and this is where we begin our story and the series of complex story lines, witty comedy, and all around good entertainment.

Sophie Devereaux  |   Gina Bellman

You’ve just been coned by a beautiful woman who’s reality is a mystery, and she just made off with your merchandise. Sophie skills are infamous in the insurance world who ends up covering the cost of the item(s), although the deduction can be made that there’s little evidence for conviction for what fingerprints can deception leave. With an arsenal of foreign accents elegant attire her skills to be anyone from a partner at a prestigious law firm to a genetic engineer of a leading technology firm. Sophie’s logical recognition for her own skills harbors an inner longing for acting which she is dreadful towards, and probably has had little exposure to broadway plays and commercials for when acting outside of a con her skills become lost and the acting painful to watch. Slight exagerration but you get my point. I sometimes wonder if she’s aware of this contrast in her deminer.

Alec Hardison  |   Aldis Hodge

I am reminded of my favorite movie of 1995 Hackers and Alec Hardison comes to mind. His skills are surpassed from that movie as we recognize that this is the 21st centuray and technology has become more malluable for those that do endulge in the possibilty of technology. His skills beyond the hardware and software extend towards the art of presentations, homeboy wont become an motivation speaker anytime soon, but his orador skills are fun to watch as he integrates them with his strong foundation in technology. His history is a little bit of a myster believe he is a foster child who had a nice grandmother figure raise him with other orphans.

Parker  |   Beth Riesgraf

Princess of Thiefs; Mozart made magic with music, Monet with art, Carver with peanuts, and Parker with stealing. Her knowledge of bank layout, safe’s anatomy, and motion sensory and more are priceless data for any international security company. A troubled youth from foster family to foster family spurred her desire for theft, and her wits & smarts transform this desire into an art form. Her qurkie attitude is a welcome comic relief.

Eliot Spencer | Christian Kane

More than muscle, with his superior skills in hand to hand combat Eliot is a force to be recon with on his own, episodes throughout the first season elude to his experience in various tactical situation. Although Eliot is not a fan of guns, his personality mixed with his ability makes him a diverse character a mix between a NYC stereotype tough guy and a 16th century Buddhist monk.
